In Alpha Betas, video games are powering the world thanks to a massive, top-secret CIA program. The show follows an elite virtual strike force of four top gamers as they drop into the virtual realms of video games to fix potentially world-ending issues. Known as the Alpha Team, these four willfully reckless and dangerously arrogant guys are the tip of a five-hundred billion dollar US Government spear sent to be heroes in high-octane pixelated worlds.

A group of provincial Bourgeois decide to spend savings they accumulated for a year of playing cards together on a memorable deed. After humorous strategizing and alliance forming, Leonida, the unmarried sister and Blanche, the engaged daughter, of Monsieur Champbourcy, entice the group to spend the money on what they imagine a luxurious journey to a capital city. A very memorable event indeed it was.

Very different in format from the 1945-1957 version hosted by Bert Parks, this show was primarily based on luck and nerves with the ability to separate truth from bluff helping out. Two contestants (One's a Returning Champion) were presented with a 4x5=20 grid with 9 celebrity guests seated along the top and side. Behind each square in the grid was either a set amount of money ($100 both abc & syndicated, $200 on abc, $300 both abc & syndicated & $500 on syndicated), a money bag, a wild account or a blank. If a contestant chose a blank, his or her turn was over and control was passed to his or her opponent. If he or she drew a dollar amount, a question would be asked of the celebrities to the top and side of the square with one answering truthfully (True) and the other giving a fake answer (False). If the contestant picked the correct answer, he or she was allowed to continue. If the contestant picked the wrong answer, he or she was unable to continue and gets the account to him or ...

Instead, he goes on the town with Della, a gorgeous, but greedy, party girl. Terry is questioned and released by police. Bernie Shelton, the gang boss, kidnaps the only witness. Then he sends his goon (Linders) to kill Terry, but Linders gets shot instead. With police after him, Terry seeks shelter in Della's apartment. When Della learns that Shelton, a man who spurned her, was behind the raid, she promises to run away with Terry, if he'll confront boss at gun-point to get the rest of the loot.
